In 1993 from France, Gerard Philippe's family settled again in his native land and town, Andratx, and opened Cafeteria Samoa. Years ago, in France they had already run a restaurant and when they arrived in Mallorca they decided to continue with their passion, cooking.
Three decades have passed and Cafeteria Samoa continues to be a benchmark in Puerto de Andratx with its style of cooking; a very varied proposal in breakfasts and an attractive combination of international dishes in its restaurant menu.
Throughout these 30 years we have seen how those who were our first clients, year after year, when returning to Mallorca, have taken the opportunity to visit us again. Now it is the children and even the grandchildren of the first clients who faithfully continue to enjoy our gastronomic proposals. For us it is a pleasure to be part of the memories of our clients - friends and continue to be part of their lives.
